How do I place an order or get a quote?

We like to work with our clients personally, and think that your logo image is too important to imprint on a product without first talking to you.  Please phone us at 530-671-5665 or 530-671-7730.   Or email us at artisb@comcast.net, or c.buerki@comcast.net.  Your image is our job!


What is CAMERA READY ART?

We prefer art by email.  Best formats are VECTOR (eps and pdf) files.  We also accept black and white color-separated artwork on glossy "ad slick" paper.  We can adapt jpg files for an additional charge.


What is a PMS color?

PMS is the Pantone Matching System, a universally known system that is recognized in most graphic processes. PMS colors are used in the offset printing industry where there are hundreds of colors available. Screen printers and embroiderers have fewer colors to choose from, but use the PMS numbers as a guide to find the closest colors available in their industry.


Is there a charge for multi colored artwork?

Screen printing charges are based on the number of colors in your artwork. There will be a Set Up charge for each of the colors in your logo and sometimes a run charge for the additional colors.  The set up charge varies with each of our manufacturers and we will give you this information when quoting your order. Digital set ups are priced differently and will be quoted.


What is a TAPE CHARGE? 

Before a product can be embroidered with your logo it is necessary to create an embroidery tape with the stitches programmed for multiple sew outs. Usually this is one time charge. Embroidery tapes are created for a specific sewn size. 
 

What is LEAD TIME?

Average lead time on promotional products is 5-15 working days and this varies with our manufacturing sources.  Some products require as much as 4-6 weeks for production. Others require as little as 1-4 working days.  It is important for us to know if you have an event date for planning purposes.
